Welcome back Foundation! We hope you had a lovely
weekend off in the sun. We have a new topic ready
for you this term; we are looking at water. Our
role-play has been transformed into an aquarium,
full of different varieties of fish and shells. This
week we read the story 'The rainbow fish' and
spoke about the importance of sharing and how it
makes people feel when we don't.Everybody in
Foundation had a go at making their own fish this
week which we will hang up around the classroom.
After cutting out their fish, Foundation 1 sponge
painted it using different colours to make it look
like it has scales. Foundation 2 used a mixture of
coloured ink and water to create a swirled effect,
before decorating their fish using glitter and
sequins to create 'shiny scales' just like 'Rainbow
fish' in the story.
