We're learning about Autumn this week in Foundation
and what better way to learn than by seeing it for
ourselves? So on Monday we went for an Autumn
walk around the school, looking at and collecting
different coloured leaves. They were different
shapes and sizes, some were crunchy and others
were soft. We also found lots of acorns but we will
make sure we put them back or the squirrels won't
have any food for the winter.
We used what we had found outside to complete lots
of activities. We created a collage to use as a border
for our Autumn display and made crowns to take
home.
Using plastacine and twigs we were also able to make
our very own hedgehogs.
