Welcome back Foundation! We hope you have had a fab
Half term and as always, we look forward to hearing
all about what you have been up to.
We have a really exciting topic for this Half Term; we
are going to be learning all about 'Minibeasts'.
This week we looked at 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'
by Eric Carle. It features a caterpillar who eats its way
through a wide variety of foodstuffs before pupating
as a butterfly. We have all been working hard to make
a huge display for our wall in Foundation, joining forces
to recreate a giant caterpillar for the centerpiece. We
think it looks amazing. What do you think?
Outside, we have had lots of minibeast related games
and activities available to us. We even made our own
insect enclosure using a selection of wooden logs from
the garden.
