Week Beginning 21st October 2013
This week we are focusing on the nursery rhyme
'Mary, Mary Quite Contrary'. After practising our
rhyme we spoke about the types of things Mary had
in her garden and how she could help them to grow.
On Tuesday and Thursday morning, lots of our Parents
and Carers came in to 'Stay and Play' and
we enjoyed a fun packed morning together, taking
part in lots of activities. This week we are going to
transform our outdoor area to look just like Mary's
garden. With the help of our visitors, we planted
bulbs that we decorated using shells and bells.
Thank you to everyone that came, despite the
miserable weather, it was lovely to see you all and we
hope to see you again at the next 'Stay and Play'
session.
Foundation worked together to create two scarecrows
to add to our garden, one created by the butterflies
and one by the ladybirds. We hope to continue with
the transformation of our garden after Half Term.
From all of us in Foundation, we hope you have a
fantastic half term!!
