Our story this week was 'Kipper's Toybox' written by
Mick Inkpen. Someone or something has nibbled a hole
in Kipper's toybox. When Kipper identifies the culprit
he thinks his troubles are over, but in actual fact they
are only just beginning! 'Sock thing'- Kipper's toy
snake made from a sock- has gone missing and it's up
to Kipper to search high and low for his missing toy.
Can you remember who the culprit was Foundation?
Everybody worked hard this week to decorate a snake
using a repeated pattern of 2/3/4 colours. We used
the pegs and peg boards to help us with our pattern
before colouring the stripes of our snake. Foundation 2
also completed a pattern using Revelation Art in ICT.
The toy shop in role play has been in full swing again
this week, with lots of children being 'shop keeper'
and selling the toys to their friends and teachers.
