Week Beginning 17th March 2014
Continuing our theme on transport, we explored all the different ways we can move on water and what we might find under the sea. Our story was 'Mr Little's Noisy Boat' by Richard Fowler. Before Mr Little could go out on his new boat, he had to find out why it was hissing, growling and squeaking. Throughout the book we were able to help him to discover what was wrong by lifting the flaps and finding the surprises inside. Do you remember what he found?

In the water tray, we enjoyed experimenting and discovering which items would float and sink. We even had the chance to make our very own boats.
In cooking this week we made and tasted a banana boat using fruit and yoghurt as a filling. I think you'll agree they look very yummy!

On Wednesday we were lucky enough to get a visit from Maggie the bird lady. Click here to see pictures of us enjoying bird watching.
