Bonjour!!
We have been busy learning and completing activities
about France this week. The rhymes we looked at
were 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' with a
French twist and 'Frere Jacques'. We looked at
pictures of the Eiffel Tower on the interactive
whiteboard, before working together to construct
the tower ourselves using cardboard boxes, masking
tape and lollipop sticks. We think it looks fab on
display in the foundation unit. What do you think?
We were lucky enough to have a fluent French
speaker in our room this week; Mrs Peltiez. As a
group we looked at a selection of French toys,
including books and talking teddy bears. In PSE
we also played a memory game using typically
French food, we all had great fun! Au Revoir!
