Week Beginning 13th May 2013
This week we read 'Olivers Fruit Salad' By Vivian
French and spoke about our favourite fruits and the
importance of eating them to keep healthy. We each
drew our favourite fruit on a piece of paper and
used it to produce a pictogram. This showed that the
most popular fruit in Foundation are strawberries,
closely followed by bananas. On Tuesday and
Thursday morning, lots of our Mums, Dads and
Grandparents came in to 'Stay and Play' and we
enjoyed a fun packed morning together, learning
through play. With the help of our visitors, we made
a fruit kebab which had a repeating pattern and
enjoyed eating it afterwards. We had fun exploring
lots of fruit related activities in and outside the
classroom. It was lovely to see so many of you and we
hope you enjoyed your morning as much as we did.
Hope to see you again at our next 'Stay and Play'.
Thank you for coming!
