Week Beginning 10th March 2014
Where do you find a sports car, a horsebox, a caravan, a
cement mixer and more than 30 other vehicles all together?
Where else but in a traffic jam? This week we were looking
at the story 'Bumper to Bumper' by Jakki Wood, which
featured pictures of vehicles that the children could
spot and name.
The bikes were outside this week for us to drive around our
special racing track in the Foundation garden. We also learned
about what we should do at a zebra crossing and the
importance of road safety. Our favourite car ramp also made
an appearance outside this week, which Foundation loved as
always!
In cooking we made a healthy cereal bar, just in case we got
stuck in a traffic jam. We added oats, brown sugar,
currants, apricots and dates, they were delicious!
