The children have had a lovely time making their puppets that you helped them design. We started the week looking at Pinocchio and thinking about older traditional toys and games that were played in the past. We explored all the different types of puppets and couldn't believe how many different ones there were. We also listened to a story on how to stay safe on the Internet with Smartie the penguin. We chatted how to keep not only our bodies healthy but our minds healthy too for Mental Health day. We are enjoying our phonics sessions, learning new letter names and sounds and some of us are beginning to segment and blend letters. Another great week!
