Queen Victoria
Early life: She was born on 24th May 1819. Her father was Prince Edward and her mother was Princess Victoria.
Her reign: On 20th June 1837 she became Queen of the United Kingdom. Her coronation took place on 28th June 1838. She reigned for 63 years and 216 days.
Her family: She had nine children. Their
names are Edward VII, Victoria, Alice, Beatrice,
Helena, Louise, Leopold, Alfred and Arthur.
Her husband was also called Arthur.
Her death: She died on 22nd January 1901 in Osborne. She died of Cerebral Naemorrhage, which is a type of stroke.
Her legacy: Her legacy is Britain's great age of industrial expansion, economic progress, and especially her empire.
